Very rare "Sonderverband 288 " sleeve insignia in worn condition.
Created in 1941 in Potsdam with experienced soldiers in desert combats for special opération such as night opérations, infiltrations, etc..
Regiment sized unit, this unit fought with the 90th light infantry division in Northern Africa.
A hard to find insigna is "worn" condition.
